Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth. ---Revelation3:10
Patience is more than endurance. The life of the saints is in the hand of God, as the bow is in the hand of the archer. God is aiming at something we can’t see and pulling his bow. The saint said, “I can’t take it anymore.” God didn’t listen. Instead, he held on until the target was in sight and let go. Put yourself in God’s hands. What are you putting up with now? Just maintain your relationship with Jesus Christ with patient heart. “Though he slays me, yet will I wait for him.”
Faith is not a pessimistic mood, but a strong and powerful trust, and it is built on God’s holy love. You don’t see him now and don’t understand what he is doing, but you know him. The stability of our soul depends on whether we are founded on the eternal truth of God’s most holy love; otherwise, faith will be destroyed like a ship on a rock. Faith is the most heroic struggle in your life. It is the desperation to commit yourself to God and trust him with all your heart.
God in Jesus Christ has gone through fire and water to save us. Now he wants us to trust him at all cost. There is much in us that faith has not yet cultivated, and that God’s life has not yet touched. But such was not the case in the life of Jesus Christ, and neither should we. “To know you… this is immortality.” The real meaning of eternal life is a kind of life that will not waver in the face of anything. If we have such a vision, the life is a page of romance, able to experience wonderful things every moment. God is always training us to get into the center of this power.
Dear God, what I deserve to be! My life full of grace is wonderful under your charge; However, I still find myself very narrow-minded. God, what can I say?
