Nowadays, people who hold a doubt about MOOC has already surpassed its supporters. Many people still like studying with MOOC, but the dropout rate is unblieveably high. However, the occurrence of MOOC is still a change direct to reform. Like medical treatment, education is hard to form a scale, given its magnitude and complexity.
Now MOOC skeptics are more numerous than believers. Although lots of people still sign up, drop-out rates are sky-high. Nonetheless, the MOOCs are on to something. Education, like health care, is a complex and fragmented industry, which makes it hard to gain scale.
