Publishing of new courses for Azure Skills platform

1. On the CMS, set the course schedule with dates in future (e.g. in 2030)

2. In the Advanced Settings, specify a default name for the certificate long & short name

3. Set the certificate web/html view enabled as “true”

4. Set the course visibility in catalog to “both”

5. This next step is required to be done by the platform team; please reach out to lexstedx@microsoft.com to set the course mode as honor in the admin tool.

6. On the CMS->Settings->Certificates, activate (via activate button) the honor cert via the certificates menu. Also please make sure course title and course number are showing up correctly.

7. Set the data for the certificate signatories (name, title, organization and signature image for Satya and Bjorn)

8. View the course live on the LMS. Under the instructor menu, click certificates. Click “Enable Student Generated Certificates”.

9. In the CMS, when viewing the course, click the Content dropdown and click “Pages” and hide the Discussion page/tab.
