暑气犹浓北斗迁，名由今日改秋蝉。
西风不解何生恨，抱树高声唱破天。

暑气还很浓重，北斗星的位置已经悄然移动；从今天起，我的名字就由夏蝉改成了秋蝉。
西风不明白我究竟在怨恨什么，只看见我抱着树干，放声高歌，那声音简直要冲破天空。

The summer heat still lingers thick, while the Big Dipper shifts its place;
From this day on, my name is changed to "autumn cicada".
The west wind knows not what grievance burns within me,
As I cling to the tree, singing loud enough to split the sky.
