What is the toughest decision you had ever made in your career.
In 2010, I got a chance to be a QA coordinator in a foreign company. I were worked in a small private enterprise so I am pretty cherished this opportunity.
However, my first day is a tragedy. I feel umfortable when I first met my colleagues. They are indifferent to me and even don't smile. In the following days, my predecessor told me not to trust my line manager and leave this company as quickly as possible. Not only my predecessor but also other colleagues say bad words to the manager in front of me. I feel I have stuck into the trap and don't know how to do :
If I leave company then I may loose the only chance to become the member in an international company
If I stay . Obviously, I will meet more difficulties than I can imagine.
Finally, I decided to trust my line manager and call him for opinions
He is glad to receive my call and told me : Kay , thanks for your trust and pls just focus on your own job as normal. I will take care of the rest thing. I will always responsible for your furture since I choose to hire you
Start from that day whatever colleagues tell me I just smile to them then stick to my work. In end of the year, I become the only one to be promoted in the company
When you meet difficult choice in the first time pls don't always decide to give up but go back to your initial goal. Think twice before decision.
