In the morning of 7thAugust, we made our final presentation to GET faculty and our professors (Andrew, Sterling presented). Our team dressed up in formal and delivered final project on different topics, including investment strategies, educations, blockchain and artificial intelligence.
Our group mainly focused on how to improve the investor education from perspective of Chinese bank. After stating the background information, we set a few goals, then we reviewed how American banks, big or small, conducted investor education. At the last part, we put up with practical suggestions to the bank.
After the group display, Dante shared his own experience in UIUC. We can see that he did awesome job and really enjoyed his studying life here. Using CELEBRATE, Dante explained how he interpret his study life here: Cook, Exercise, Explore, Belief, Renew, Activate, Try. Each of us grew in numerous ways and became more mature.
Then we shift to Country Club to have our graduation lunch. It just like yesterday that we had our welcome lunch here. The attendants included most faculty of GET office, Michael, language conversational partners, partial professors and TA. Rob and Andrea spoke in turn to proceed, and after Big Matt gave his remarks, we made our chorus, In the Winter. William recited the English version lyrics and then we song together while ZL played guitar and accompanied on the piano by Grace. After we enjoyed the formal meal, our guest speaker from Illinois International Programs said a few words. Then it was my turn on behalf of the delegation to give a short speech. The next iternary on the schedule was exchanging gifts. And then we took group pictures with our professors, faculty and language partners.
After spending more than 5 months in Champaign- Urbana, we graduated from UIUC and became Alumni of this university! It was a precious experience for each of our members. I am very grateful to everyone who contributed to our program!
