Summary
After Iron Man came out , Musk got more attention and enjoyed his rising profile , for it fed his ego and provided some fun . While puting on a good show for the public , he 'd started to get worried about his businesses —— launch attempt failure and Tesla delays . As his buinesses and public persona suffered , his home life degraded as well . Musk filed for divorce which turned to be a disaster scenario .During a decompression tour at London , Musk met with Riley and they got married soon .
Falcon 1 finally succeeded in its fourth launch ,making it the first privately built machine to accomplish such a feat. It took six year and five hundred people to make this miracle of modern scienceand business happen. However, the afterglow of this mammoth victory faded soon and space X fell in financial woes. Musk went through the hardest period until NASA paid 1.6 billion for flights to the space station.
Furthermore, Musk has a bigger goal than a few launches per year or several government contracts for survival. He committed himself to using manufacturing breakthroughs to create a drastic cost drop of getting things to space. And he made it , cases in point: the Falcon 1 was by far the cheapest means of getting something into orbit, thrilling people in the space industry;and Falcon Heavy was designed to be the world’s most powerful rocket.
Despite his success in space industry, Musk concerned about SpaceX going public.He preferred creating great products than being distracted by the manic-depressive nature of the stock.
