When people mention hero, what comes into your mind? Why do people think someone is a hero?
Actually, different people have their own definition of hero.
Well, for me, gone are the days when I automatically think of Superman when I hear this word , gone are the days when I thought you have to do unachievable and unimaginable things to be a hero. When I began to understand that these people don't exist and when I'm faced with the realities of life, my definition of hero changed with it.
Anyone can be a hero, they exist around us.
Recently, I met a colleague, he always helps other people silently. He's always there if you need him but he doesn't even want you to know that. He always wears that half-smile and I have never heard him speak ill of somebody. Well, I think that this is the true meaning of generosity. If he can it, then he will definitely do it even if it's not written in his job description. At first, I thought he's simple and interesting because he's nice.Until today, we are quite busy, everyone's hurrying to complete their own job but he still managed to help us. When we realize something we forgot then he already did it. What a nice and humble person. I said, you are my hero, dear and another colleague joined in and also said the same words. See, that's teamwork. Do simple act of kindness, you never who's watching you, you may be a hero to their eyes. I'm happy that I met you here and I also want to be the same as you, my hero. Thanks.
