- 1、直接引语

- 2、间接引语

- 3、总结：
- 引号打开变宾语从句。看引号中的句子类型（陈述句、疑问句）
- 设身处地 转换角度
- 人称
- 时态
- 代词或状语等
陈述句 + that，that不做句子成份，只是分隔主句和从句
1、He will help us.
We know that he will help us.
疑问句，有what，是特殊疑问句。所以以Wh或How开头的，都是特殊疑问句。把主语放在所有谓语动词之前。
2、What did you say?
We know what you said.
一般疑问句。1、把主语提前。 2、因为一般疑问句，回答一般YES、NO。所以要加whether/if，表示是否。
3、Is she coming here?
We know if she is coming here.
课文
- 1、"I am inquiring a certain patient".
Mr. Gilbert said that he was inquiring a certain patient.
- 2、"When will Mr. Gilbert be allowed to go home?"
He then asked when Mr. Gilbert would be allowed to go home?
- 3、"Was my operation successful?"
He asked his doctor to tell him whether his operation had been successful.
- 4、While John Gilbert was in hospital, he asked his doctor to tell him whether his operation had been successful, but the doctor refused to do so.

so 是个代词，指代上文。
