HOW BLOCKCHAIN trust infiltrates
I don't understand why people are frightened of new ideas, I'm frightened of old ones.
Reaching consensus is at the heart of blockchain's operations. While traditional intermediaries used to rule transactions in a centralized way, blockchain released the authority and trust in a decentralized way which allow its nodes to continuously and sequencially record the transactions on the public block, creating a chain.
There is no doubt that blockchain will affect everything, but the question is knowing how, when and what it will be. Blockchain will make you eventually believe that peer-to-peer transactions can be finalized without known intermediaries, except for blockchain itself.
Blockchain is not a one-trick pony. It is a multi-headed beast that can take many forms.
If you see blockchain as a new technology, you will implement it as a technology. If you see it as a new business change enabler, you will focus on business process. If you see it as the implications of governance, you will be emboldened by its new way. And if you see it as a blank sheet of paper, you will get very creative by dreaming up all the possibilities.
