Indecisiveness, as a wholly undesirable trait, may result from bad interpersonal relationships. Many people always lose patience and complain about dealing with persons who struggle to come to a conclusion. Personally, indecisiveness can also be linked to problems like anxiety. Not just a few suffers gravely in this regard.
However, the article I read today suggests that it can have an upside.
Experts claim that indecision prevents us from common cognitive errors, such as confirmation bias, which often leads to make the wrong judgment. And the shame or regret that may come with jumping to a conclusion too quickly.
Yet, in my opinion, such “wise ”indecisiveness is on the basis of rich experience and all-round thinking. In reality, part of indecisive people is short of experience and don’t know how to do it, so they scare and hesitate before making decisions.
Rather than put off making decisions until they feel certain, for those people, Instead, the smarter choice is to stop thinking twice and leap.
