甲骨文的“舍”（SHE）字通常是由一个屋子的形象和一个人的形象组成，表示人进入屋子里。这个字在古代汉语中表示“住进”，“居住”的意思。
“舍”可以帮助修行者避免身口意三业的过失，维护个人的修行生活，也是培养慈悲和智慧的基础。对于菩萨而言，遵守“舍”更是为了救度一切众生，成就菩提之路。
The word “SHE”(SHE ) in oracle bone inscriptions usually consists of the image of a house and the image of a person, indicating that a person enters a house. This word in ancient Chinese means“Live into”, “Live” meaning. “Sacrifice” can help practitioners to avoid the mistakes of body, mouth and mind, and maintain personal practice life. It is also the foundation of cultivating compassion and wisdom. For the bodhisattva, obeying the“She” is to save all sentient beings and achieve the path of Bodhisattva.
