In my house we were so near
that we could not begin to hear --
we could not
speak low enough to be heard;
as when you throw two stones
into calm water so near
that they break
each other's undulations.
他說，
遺憾就是
房子太小了，
太小之後呢，
彼此間距離太近。
而
距離太近，
就沒有那個距離感阿。
距離太小了，
就不適合做那種深層次，
有品質的交流。
他說，
在房子中，我們如此之近，

無法用低的聲音
被對方聽到

undulations，波紋蕩漾。
你把兩塊石頭，
扔進太近的水域，
它們的距離太近了，
它們的波，
就會抵銷掉了。
兩個人
離得太近，
說的話呢，就做不到
入
耳
縈
心
.
所以，還是在從反面強調距離感的概念。
