Ladies and gentlemen,
女士们，先生们
I am extremely nervous
我十分紧张
as you can see...
你们能看出来
but at the same time
但同时
I am extremely honoured
我又深感荣幸
and privileged to be here
能够来到这里
to receive such an honour.
接受这样一份荣誉
When I knew that
当我得知
I was recognised by Kingston University
我被金斯顿大学认可为
of being a doctor in music,
音乐专业博士时
I had doubts
我是有疑惑的
because I receive a lot of awards,
因为我获得过很多奖项
actually more than I deserve I think.
很多奖项我受之有愧
You kind of think;
你可能会去想
'what's the meaning of this?
这其中的意义是什么?
'and success...
还有成功.
'am I successful'?...
我成功吗?
I think I'm still learning,
我觉得我仍在学习
I'm still striving to what success is.
还在努力弄懂什么是成功
To me,
对我来说
success is having a very kind and loving heart
成功是怀有一颗善良有爱的内心
and I think that's the best,
我觉得这是最棒的
nothing beats that
这是最重要的
when you do anything.
