另外还有一种情况：代表fact、idea、hope这种名词具体内容的名词从句。fact等名词也会保留下来（删掉的话，句子意思就不清楚了）。这时，名词从句也拖在（fact等名词）后面。
例如：
I had no intention of buying one, but Icould not concealthe fact that I was impressed by the size of the diamonds.（《新概念3-28》）
我根本不想买，但钻石之大让我印象深刻，这一点我掩饰不住。
（intention意图、conceal隐藏）
在这个句子里，that I was impressed by the size of the diamonds就是本可以替换掉the fact的名词从句。但是为了句意清楚，我们还是选择保留the fact，因此就出现the fact that I was impressed …
