风和日丽|儿童锻炼比你想象的还要早开始 Kids‘ get fit? It start early then you think.


You may wonder, can we help our child get the recommended one-plus hours of daily physical activity when you can't even make it to the gym?


Let's rethink the purpose of we workout? It's to training our heart, lung, muscle and joint physiologically. On this point, I can tell you plenty child work out activities.


"A workout doesn't have to mean running laps or lifting weights, which requires you to set aside blocks of time," Adelphi University professor Stephen Virgilio, author of Active Start for Healthy Kids (Human Kinetics Publishers) says. "Think of exercise as leading an active lifestyle, which you can do with your kids, and you'll be able to fit in more than you think."

What kind of exercise is fun and get fit for child?


Exercise increases the blood flow to all body tissues, including the brain. Greater blood flow transports more oxygen and nutrients to the body’s cells. But for child, doing exercise is nothing more then have fun.



Age 0-2


  • Babies and toddlers are building their muscle system. On this stage, any movement is good for them.


  • Stretching exercises help improve flexibility, allowing muscles and joints to bend and move easily through their full range of motion. Kids get chances every day to stretch when they walk, climb on the chair or carry toy.


  • Establish a regular schedule for physical activity at this age. For 1+ baby, you can slightly add a half hour exercise in daily work, it can help the body get use to be more functional. A routine life with exercise also helps to set up a stable lifetime of happy.


Age 2-6


  • Improving strength doesn't have to mean lifting weights. Instead, kids can do push-ups, stomach crunches, pull-ups, and other exercises to help tone and strengthen muscles. They also improve their strength when they climb, do a handstand, or wrestle.


  • This is a very important time for kid to set up an exercise habbit. It will bring kid a healthy life, away from over-weight also mean avoid type II diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease or cancer.


Age 6+


  • Outdoor games and playful workout routines can be the tools that instill lasting joy of exercise.


  • Turn exercise into a habit is an excellent idea for kid at this age. It can help not only healthy body also strong mind. Especially a teamwork exercise can build a idea of cooperation.


  • A good workout gets your blood flowing, more oxygen gets to your brain. And that means you can think better.


  • Training concentration is a benefit for work out, which can help kids concentrate in class, get better grades and even sleep better.
