参考范文:
My Opinion on Campus Love
It must be admitted that campus love has been popular in recent years. People hold different opinions on how to deal with it. Some college teachers argue that students should give up love for the sake of learning. It is generally considered that love is time consuming and invites grave trouble in learning. Some students, however, hold that a student who falls in love will study harder and will make greater progress. They don't believe that a person in love lags behind in his studies.
There are different kinds of love on campus. Some students regard love as sharing time with their friends who have compatible personalities; some are pragmatic, thinking it's difficult to find better partners within a short time after graduation; some are seeking the impetus of study. Anyhow, far away from home and alone, seeking friendship, understanding and love, the boys and girls who have sound and similar ideas about life easily find comfort and appreciation from one another.
In spite of the emotional appeal, it must be pointed out that they may too often be hurt by love. Some change dating "partners" frequently, revealing to each other their defects as well as their merits and holding a paradoxical opinion that they could show off their charm, but more often than not, they would leave a bad impression on others. Having it will make them very happy; while losing it, they always feel disappointed and depressed. When the bond of love is broken, it will leave nothing but ashes. It may be said without fear of exaggeration that some even do something crazy out of romantic consideration. Students should not let romantic campus love interfere with their studies.
So, look before you leap, discard campus love and make a wiser decision after graduation.
