I don't know when did we start to have only one friend-wifi. I don't know when did we start to think that we don't need real friends because wifi can protect our personal things unlike others. We just woke up one day realizing that we cannot live without internet anymore. We always check whether we are connected to it. If you're always on the internet, that would leave an impression that you're always alone or you wanted to be left alone. Every now and then, we check our phone if we're connected to the internet. After checking, we are actually connected-connected to wifi, to social medias, to everything, we are connected to the world but why do we still feel alone? In fact, we know the reason, we just need to wake up and realize that the problem is us and it always has been. It's not the internet, it's you and me. Do you have some friends on social media that you can send a message, you comment on their photo and vice versa but in real life you don't actually talk? Do you want to go out to buy something but you still choose to shop online because it's convenient? Is there a time that you needed something and you wanted to ask others for help but then you just search it on the internet because it’s also convenient? Then we shouldn't wonder why we still feel alone even if we're connected. Even for the couples, they have partners but sometimes, they will feel alone because they spend their free time on the internet. When they go out to eat, they will still be on their phone. When you book a hotel, when you go to a shop, it needs to have a wifi. Otherwise, you will feel uncomfortable and awkward talking to people. We don't even know how to start a conversation with them. My dears, internet is great but we should use it wisely instead of letting it control us. All the people are still social animal however we don't only need to build a relationship with people but we also need to show them who we truly are. No matter how convenient using internet is, sometimes, all we need to do is to put down our phone, turn off the wifi and connect with people. Don't wait for the day that you wake up and there's no one left around you.
