Sincere people want to approach religion to learn how to love and how to be good to others. All great scriptures of all religions and all true saints of the world teach, not to become a Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Jew, or a Buddhist, but to gain knowledge of the "Truth."

真诚的人接触宗教是想要学习如何去爱，如何正确的对待他人。所有宗教的伟大经典，所有传扬真知的圣人，教导的并不是要我们去成为一个穆斯林，基督徒、犹太教徒，佛教徒，而是要去获得关于“真理”的知识。

Truth cannot be different in different places and at different times. Truth is a universal principle. What we learn in colleges today are relative truths that are very important in our practical everyday lives: how to be a good engineer or a computer professional or a manager or a businessman. But what is the underlying truth? Who am I? Where am I coming from? What is consciousness? What is the goal of human life?

真理不应该随着时间和地点的不同而改变。真理是一种通用原则。如今我们在学校里学到的是相对真理，这些真理在我们实际日常生活中非常重要：如何成为一个优秀的工程师、IT精英、管理者、商人。可什么是最基本的真理？我是谁？我来自哪？意识是什么？人体生命的目的是什么？

To understand the nature of consciousness within us is truth. Every part of our body is changing; even our mind is changing to some extent. But there is something constant throughout these changes, and that is our consciousness.

弄清楚内在意识的本性就是真理。我们身体的每个部分一直都在改变，我们的想法一定程度上也在发生改变。但是在这些变化中，某些东西一直是恒定的，那就是我们的意识。

Therefore, when we talk about religion, we are not talking about some beliefs or a blind faith or a particular set of rituals. We are talking about a science that gives us an understanding and an experience of truth--the underlying truth within us and within all. That truth harmonizes humanity and all living beings. Without that truth all harmony seems to have little or no value.

因此，当我们谈论宗教时，我们并不是在谈论某种信条、或一个盲目的信仰、或一套特定的仪式。我们谈论的是一门科学，一门可以让我们明白和体验真理的科学，这个基本的真理在我们内在，在所有生物体的内在。这个真理使得人类与所有生物体和谐存在，没有了这个真理，所有和谐几乎没有价值。
