原文:
生之、畜之，生而弗有，长而弗宰也。是谓玄德。
译文:
让万事万物生长繁殖，产生万物、养育万物而不占为己有，作万物之长而不主宰他们，这就叫做“玄德”。
畜：养育、繁殖。
玄德：玄秘而深邃的德性。
“天之道”生养万物，保护万物，但不占有万物，不以自己为首领，这就是深远的德行。
我们要从国学中不断学习道德，修养自身，向“天之道”靠近。
我的翻译:
Dao gives a birth to everything and protects everything,but it doesn't dominate
everything, which is called the greatest virtue.
