Tommy didn't think he could get anything, but he put his hand into the hollow trunk to please Pippi. When his hand was out with a notebook covered by leather and in a special loop there was a silver pencil, he cried out that it was queer. Pippi said there was nothing so nice to be a Thing Finder. And she asked Annika to look for something in the tree stumps. Annika got a necklace. They were so surprised that they thought thereafter they would be a Thing Finder every single day.
