错逢GRE写作，那便汲取些精华吧！

研究了半下午加几乎一晚上才搞明白，原来GRE写作是思辨写作，虽分为 Issue 和 Argument 两部分，但整体题目模型是问你是否同意材料中所给观点：同意，或不同意，然后自圆其说。

而我想提升的只是普通大众型的、基础型的议论文写作。好吧，资料买错了。

花这么长时间才弄明白这样一个基础概念的区别。而关于二者的区别，在网上又没有找到专门的文章论述。既然我经过研究有了一些自己的见解，就在这里分享一下吧。

一个很关键的区别是，GRE的 Issue写作有一个要求是 insightful position, 注意：position 不等于attitude。即在GRE的 Issue写作里，立场不等于态度，很多GRE高分作文都要对一个事物的利弊两方面进行具体分析，而不进行倾向性的态度传递，这样做是完全可以的，而且体现了思考的全面性，也符合事物的基本规律：任何事物都具有两面性。

以托福写作为例，托福独立写作非常强调态度的传达，需明确展示出作者倾向哪个的选择。但是GRE作文强调分析事物的方法论，强调论证过程。

下面是GRE题库中的一个Issue。

As people rely more and more on technology to solve problems, the ability of humans to think for themselves will surely deteriorate.

Discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for your position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.

普通议论文写作：给一段材料，材料会有一个主题，你需要对这个主题提出自己的观点，再加以论述即可。注意这里的观点不拘于同意或不同意。同时原材料也并非辩论主题一样论点单一和鲜明。

找到了一篇主题相似的英语专业考研真题（我将其归类为普通议论文写作）：

Read the following passage and then write an essay to argue for or against the author's point of view in about 350 words. Requirements:1. A specific title, a clear thesis and valid supporting examples, details or facts; 2. You must argue and reason logically for your point of view.
