Whether deteriorate patients' illness faster or not and I think honest is a best placebo for doctors to refrain from dilemma.
Confront some deceitives and armed with such a precept,no matter a patient know his/her circumstance , a doctor has a warrant to deny illusory and never distort incurably illness even if intelligent~
And now ,I have two opinions on this and different people have different choices about , if you are maybe you will chioce a truly result like most people because of their autonomy~ I guess when a benevolent doctor tell the truth, an optimistic person will change himself and face in an optimistic attitude but overwhelming on the contrary...so it depends on a doctor's bearing, why? because a doctor's ethical can lead to a circumstance to derive from a patient's motion. if a doctor scrupulously master ways point with different people for a sake and take a stand to erode a peculiarly happened, credibility doctor befalled ehical to render the truth ,it is nothing no more than great. Also prove integrity arrival!!!
Eloquent all , no one knows what happened next time and honesly is very integrity but depends on who are you!
A profession which has traditionally been guided by a precept that transcends the virtue of uttering the truth for truth's sake, and that is 'as far as possible do no harm.'
Dying patients especially——who are easiest to mislead and most often kept in the dark——can then not make decisions about the end of life: about wheter or not make decisions about the end of life: about whether or not they should enter a hospital, or to have surgery; about where and with whom they should spend their remaining time; about how they should bring their affairs to a close and take leave.
