On National Day, my sister decided to climb the mountain Taibai on foot. And she asked me whether I would like to try it. At the beginning, I think it may be a tough task at all and didn't accept it at once. But my brother wanted to challenge himself. So he came to encourage me and I accept this challenge.
We spent almost the whole day on the train because it would save us a lot. After we arrived in Xi'an train station, we were sent to the foot of a hill by the local driver.
As we arrived there very early in the morning, we somewhat eat some breakfast to replenish our energy at the starting point. Then the guide took us to march to the summit.
When we just started, we are all fully-energized. So we chatted with each other in a great mood. With the increase in altitude and the long-standing climbing, we gradually realized the importance of saving our physical stength and talked less than before. On the way to the summit, we are sometimes surrounded by fogs. As the fog faded away, the beauty of nature laid before our eyes. Everyone stopped their steps to record the magnificent scenery and all admire the magic of nature.
Going through 10-hours climbing, we arrived at the mountainside and some houses, which look like warehouse, erected there. Even some tents are pitched beside those houses. But the weather was so cold outside, so we rent a house.
In the mountains, darkness always surrounds you. However, it also provide us a great opportunity to be close to the sky. Raising our head and watching the starry sky, we feel the peace that the motropolis never had.
