因有事未能全程跟课，听说小朋友都表现非常棒，已经完全适应美女老师的课堂，每次Ivy都是第一个到课堂，老师也总是早早到，Ivy非常喜欢这老师，来了就直奔老师聊天去了，交谈中看出老师对她也是钟爱有加。其他小朋友也陆续到了。Leo生病了未能来，祝愿他早日好起来，一起绘画。
Today students did space project. They used oil pastels to draw planets and stars around the paper, mixing colors and performing simple shapes. For the background we used dark watercolor paint to make it look like real space.
今天小朋友画得星球作品，他们用油蜡笔画了星体和星球，混搭颜色画了一些简单的形状，我们用了深色水彩笔设计了背景，让画看起来逼真。
Jason drew good shapes around the paper. Filled them with lots of colors. His planets looked unique and beautiful. Background he painted in a rush. I had to point out on some spots that he missed, and he quickly corrected and painted everything very well. Jason started working on spaceships and rocket designs, bringing lots of imagination and story into his artwork.

Johnny seemed to like this topic, he is curious about space. He drew lots of planets around the paper. He didn't want to use too many colors, he drew lots of blue planets, since he likes the color. Johnny was rushing a little, but I'm glad he stayed entertained by the topic. His background looks good, but needs some finishing next class.

Nancy worked on her self portrait. We focused on learning new ways of drawing facial features. Nancy learns fast and always willing to discover new things. She added some very interesting details on the background, drew a big volcano on the back. Nancy always works very hard in the classroom and does high quality work!

Ivy finished her portrait, she picked colors carefully and colored all the small details. Then she started working on her space project. Ivy drew lots of beautiful planets. She blended colors very well. I also love how she arranged planets around the paper. Ivy also started painting and will continue next class.

Homework: cut out all the shapes and arrange whatever shapes you like into a spaceship or a rocket. Color it and add details.
