The theme of my speech today is how to maintain my original intention。(我今天演讲的主题是如何保持初心。)
After entering the university, we have many activities，(进入大学后，我们有许多的活动)Especially last semester, due to the epidemic, the school has been closed down, and this semester, due to policy changes, it was suddenly opened up,(特别是上学期因为疫情，一直封校，这学期因为政策的改变突然放开了)Many students have participated in many activities, and at the beginning, life is very fulfilling, feeling tired and happy。(很多同学参加了许多活动，刚开始生活很充实，感觉累并快乐着)However, gradually, they will find many things very complex, cumbersome, and tired, and they want to give up.(但是，慢慢的，他们会发现很多事情很复杂，很繁琐，很劳累，他们想放弃。)
That's what happened to me。(这种情况就发生在我身上)When I'm struggling with these things，(当我在为这些而纠结苦恼时）A teacher's words woke me up，(一位老师的话点醒了我)"He said, 'Why do you want to give up? Is it because of a change in your initial intention or because you were hit by difficulties?'"(他说，你为什么想要放弃，是因为初心的改变，还是被困难打到了)Yes, if it's not a change of original intention, then what can't be insisted on?(对啊，如果不是初心的改变，那么有什么不能坚持的呢？)
