1、Well, something I've thought about for some time is that when I do walk and I'm doing a late shift,I think the lighting (Q6) should be better.(C10 Test2 Par1第38句)
今天跟读的这句话中有一个some time, 其实类似的词还有sometimes, some times, sometime, 这几个表达如何区分呢：
区分 some time、some times 和 sometimes 的常用记忆口诀为：“分开是一段，相连是某时；分开 s 是倍次，相连 s 是有时”。该口诀通过单词的分写/连写及字母"s"的位置来快速辨析词义。
some time（分开无 s）：意为"一段时间"，通常作时间状语，表示时长 。
some times（分开有 s）：意为"几次"或“几倍”，强调具体的次数或倍数 。
sometimes（相连有 s）：意为"有时"，表示频率，相当于 at times。
sometime（相连无 s）：意为"某个时候"，指不确定的时间点（如将来或过去）。
2、I think it's a real shame they've been cutting down on the number of footpaths.(C10 Test2 Par1第41句)
shame这个词的使用，总是让我很迷惑，因为其基本的以上是羞耻，羞愧，既可以做名词，也可以做动词，但是老外又经常用shame来表示遗憾，如果用不好，就会产生不好的歧义，其实关键点在于，当表示遗憾是，一定要加个不定冠词a，也就是a shame, 相当于是一个固定搭配用法。
a shame [单数名词] 令人惋惜的事；让人遗憾的事 同义词：pity，比如：
What a shame they couldn't come.
3、As you may know, there's a drive in the city to get more people to cycle to work.(C10 Test2 Par1第49句)
drive这个词不仅仅表示驾驶，还可以表示有组织的努力去干什么事情。
