The hare can run very fast, but the turtle can only walk slowly. One day the hare proudly challenged the turtle to a race. The hare started quickly but stopped to take a nap every now and then. The turtle walked slowly but surely. While the hare was sleeping, the turtle passed him. Finally, the turtle won the race. In the end, he was rewarded for his perseverance. We can all learn a Lesson from the turtle.

one day是表示时间的状语,可指过去或将来的某一天。换言之,one day可使用于过去时或将来时的句子中。
例: One day I had dinner with her at that restaurant. (过去时)

注意:
a. someday 将来有一天(用于将来时)

注意:
very虽是副词,却无法修饰动词,只能修饰形容词或副词;但very much却可修饰动词,使用时置于句尾。
