Jack drove his motocycle to explorer the world from his hometown New York to Alaska. It was a rather long way to go. He even didn’t believe he could finish it. Jack was inspired by Christopher McCandless, the archetype of the movie Into The Wild. He was 24 years old that year but he never traveled off the east coast. He likes to drive through the streets. Only at that time would he feel free.
Jack had planed this long trip for one year. He learnt how to find lodging for the night, make plans of the routes and escape the border inspection. He leaved his parents a note the night he hit the road. He didn’t want to imitate Christopher and disappeared totally. It was just a journey for him and he would come back into the normal world.
Jack drove over 500 km the first day which broke his driving distance record and he was very proud of himself. He rested at his friend’s home for one night and left at dawn the next day.
Day by day, he just drove and never stopped for one day. A few days later, he arrived at Los Angeles. He stopped and gave himself a seven-day holiday. He was tried of the motocycle and just walked and took buses to travel the city. The west coast was another feeling for this curious boy.
After leaving Los Angeles, Jack just headed for Canada without any long time rest. He succeeded escaping the border inspection and got into Canada. He bought one fake plate and put it on his motorcycle. Now, he became one Canadian driver. He used the same trick to evade the border police.
