We enjoyed a longnight of revelry, drinking and dancing until deeply dark on Wednesday.  It’s the second time we have party, last onewas on March 7th. Every time I had it I can’t work the next day, somaybe this is the last party I could join, but I want to share it with all ofyou, since it’s so long and so amazing.

Teachers in themountains in Qinghai,what about their life? Most teachers couldn’t go home during the week days,during the daytime, class after class, day by day, something the same everyday, something different happened from time to time like the party.

Mrs. J invited allthe staff to go to her home having dinner, I thought it’s just a dinner, but it’sa party over 4 hours, tasty meat and vegetables are part of the party but notthe whole.

After plates ofmeat and meat, there are more delicacy, after we have eaten an hour, there is amain food ——noodles with vermicelli and pieces of greenpeppers. I was so sorry that I was full before the main food. Then the hostproposed a toast to every guest with a plate of highland barley wine in turn,that’s the first round of dozens that night, for more fun and more drink, theychose to play different games to promote the drinking atmosphere. Unfortunatelywe, two volunteer teachers can’t drink, so we went to another room to killtime, after a while we heard joyous sounds from the living room, so we enterthem, they played music and started to dance freely.

All kinds ofdancing, disco, Tibet dancing, local fan dancing, female and male teachers,including principal all dancing with music, all the adults enjoyed the time andjust like kids without any pressure till deeply dark.

Time flies, morethan four hours past, we walked along the country road back to school gaily, it’sabsolutely an amazing night. I had paid my price: I have to stay in the bed torest more than twenty hours to recover part of my basic energy. The day afterthe second I still feel fragile.

To me it’s an unforgettableand exhausted night, my health condition is the first and most important thingin the mountain, so I am not sure I will join any official or personal partyagain that I record this experience to all of you.
