When I was a little girl, influenced by my father, I have become interested in English deeply. Even though he could only speak several simple words, such as bike, banana, pig, and sing the simplest Alphabet song, with accent. However, I fell in love with the smile and confidence on his face when he spoke these simple words. At that time, I believed it was fashionable and enjoyable to speak English. Maybe you will say, wow, wonderful, you father is so charming.
Yeah, absolutely, this really was a wonderful enlightenment to me, but my enthusiasm on English has been gradually decreasing since I entered the middle school. Because I felt bored with a pile of grammars and homework in the English class, and the class never brought me the pleasure that my father once did.
Unfortunately, after entering into university, I found my English teacher still took class in the same way as the middle school teachers did. It was a disaster for me. So I chose to re-learn a foreign language—Japanese, and begun studying English by myself since then.
It was eight years till to now. During this long period, I passed the CET-4, CET-6 for reaching the graduation demands of school. I yelled crazy English of Li Yang day after night for expressing myself fluently. I studied 4 grammar books for a throughout understanding on English grammar system. I spent nearly 1000 hours in preparing the GRE for studying abroad.
Yeah, I have been fulfilled as I learn English; however, I feel lonely as well. Thus, I joined this English writing group——“Write Or Out”. The members in this group all ardently love English and we date to write two compositions a month for 7 years. With the similar interest and common goal, we could discuss how to translate a sentence, exchange how to express in English more natively and share how to learn English efficiently. Most importantly, we will travel to European after 7 years.
