'A heavy rain is a big war', it was a sentence that all of a sudden came into my brain when yesterday I started to look for shelter from the rain.
Clouds clusted and wind roared at about 6pm while I was walking home. Not too long the rain was pouring heavily, forced me to split the ideas to run home and rush into under the footbridge, where several persons have been.
Feeling safe a little, I dodged the direction of rain and wind while took out cellphone to record the passing cars and walkers with interest. Professor Fu Peirong was talking about Confucious in the earphone, and I began to make blind and disorderly conjectures, i.e. my diffuse mode worked.
It's good to suffer from natural power such as heavy rain or big earthquake, especially when you're proud of youself or your 'achievements' . The Nature would use its 'Prehistorical Power' to tell you how ridiculous you once were to thought you deserved the word 'Great'. It made you shake, afraid, believable, humble and full of reverence. In another word, it overdid you in rectifying behaviors.
So if God would give an important task to a certain person, the first thing He does is to temper his will power, fatigue his muscles and bones, starve his stomach and destitute his body. God would not make any kind of his action satisfactory as he wishes in order to shock his heart, make his temperament persistant and dauntless, and increase his ability.
As rain became heavier, the water began to overflow the step and covered our shoes and ankles. People screamed and ran away. That reminded me of the fact that we are so happy when at the beach the sea water pat our legs, now the scenary was so similar--you were on the side of a 'beach', and the water wet you, yet a quite different reaction showed. How could that happen? Because we are passive and unprepared about the dirty rain water yet positive to the other? Probably the sea water is much dirtier! I fancied I was playing around the sea and felt quite relaxed and heapier when the rain stirred overflew my legs.
When the wind, thunder, lightning and rain seemed to get little, a boy of us ran out with his bike and attempted to ride it, and I followed. Not too far away, he suddenly fell down into the street water, raining and thundering. Poor Guy!
Cars continued ringing, and night sank black. A sudden rain intrigued people's abnormal behaviors and thoughts. That provided a chance to observe and forecast when war was coming, what would people do and think.
These two things may share similar laws.
