今天经过一年级门口,又被围堵。一年级的小朋友太想念我了,所以我又给他们讲了一遍《The big bad monster》。
这让我想起了半年前去别的学校送课的情形!那时候因为没有资金,我打印了20多本绘本,孩子们看的津津有味。后面表演环节孩子的表演让我吃惊,课堂生成让我感动,这么也足矣以体现绘本的魅力!
以下是我当时授课的教案,有兴趣的老师可以参考一下。
I. Pre - reading
1. Greeting and free talk. 2. Introduce the title and the cover of this book. Raise the pupils’ interest in reading this story.
II. While - reading
1. Guiding to read.a. Show a picture of the second page of the book and ask pupils to talk freely according to the teacher’s questions. Make sure they know the main characters of the story as least.T: What can you see in the picture?Ps: I can see....T: I can see three goats too. They are baby goat, Mum goat and Dad goat. They are family. Children, do you know what they like to eat? Ps: Grass.b. Show a voice of the Dad goat : I can see some grass. And a voice of the Mum goat: Can we eat the grass? Then ask students can they eat the grass? c. Ask the pupils to help the goat to eat the grass which is on the other side of the river. Then introduce the new word “bridge”. d. Play a voice of the monster to read the sentences without showing the monster as the following: “ No, you can’t. It is my grass. And it is my bridge.” Let the pupils to guess who is it. And find out the monster.e. Teacher takes out the mask of the monster and repeat the sentences in a bad man voice: “ No, you can’t. It is my grass. And it is my bridge.” to make the students feel the dangerous atmosphere. f. Show two pictures of two situations. One is going to leave, one is fighting with the monster. And ask students if you are the baby goat, which picture will you choose? Pupils choose the picture.g. Show the picture of page 11 and tell the pupils how the baby goat deal with this dangerous situation.Teacher acts as the baby goat and says “Please don’t eat me. I’ m too small”. Begging the monster to let him past. Then ask some of the students to imitate the voice of the baby to please the monster. h. Turn to the next page and let the students find where the baby goat is. And ask the students what can the Mum say if she wants to eat the grass too. Then invite another students to read the sentences lively as the following: “Please don’t eat me. I’ m too small.”i. Show the angry face of the Dad goat and ask the pupils a question: Does the Dad goat cross the bridge in the same way? Pupils talk freely and share their ideas. j. Teachers presents the result of the story and ask pupils what is the Dad goat’s method to cross the bridge.k. Show a happy ending of the story. And let more students imitate the happy voices of the goat’s family.“ This grass is good . This grass is good. This grass is very good.”2. Class reading by the words. In the second reading, teacher opens the book one page by one page and the students read the sentences aloud. All the students focus on the voices and tones of different characters. Try to read this story in a lively way.
III. Post-reading
1. Act out the story in a group of four. Encourage the pupils to act in a lively way. they should focus on their voice, facial expression, and body language.2. Ask the pupils to make a new ending of the story. Make sure they know the important of being friendly.
