崇宁重宝正面铸刻“崇宁重宝”四字,所有字体均刻画工整清晰,钱币背面素无纹饰,品相较佳。“崇宁重宝”整体铸造规整,字体清晰,风格独特,字体笔法流畅,纹饰刻制工细。而另枚北宋珍稀古泉崇宁通宝,圆形方孔铜质钱币,保存较好,其色泽自然、开口规整,不论是文字还是图案,都显得自然细腻,深浅合适。圆形方孔的铜币,其形状外发天,内地法,取义精宏。期于战国后期,铜钱是把宝之一,象征富贵,辟邪。钱币虽经历了无穷岁月,但纹路依然清晰可见,上面的锈迹也见证了其历史的积淀,具有非常明显的历史过渡性特征,有着难以言喻的收藏价值。崇宁通宝钱文为徽宗御书瘦金体,铁划银钩,深具骨秀格清之气韵,书法超妙绝伦,堪称币文楷书之颠峰。世人评此为“宋代第一泉”,与王莽并称中国钱发“二圣”,崇宁通宝版式多变,尚有铁钱。
