崇宁重宝正面铸刻“崇宁重宝”四字，所有字体均刻画工整清晰，钱币背面素无纹饰，品相较佳。“崇宁重宝”整体铸造规整，字体清晰，风格独特，字体笔法流畅，纹饰刻制工细。而另枚北宋珍稀古泉崇宁通宝，圆形方孔铜质钱币，保存较好，其色泽自然、开口规整，不论是文字还是图案，都显得自然细腻，深浅合适。圆形方孔的铜币，其形状外发天，内地法，取义精宏。期于战国后期，铜钱是把宝之一，象征富贵，辟邪。钱币虽经历了无穷岁月，但纹路依然清晰可见，上面的锈迹也见证了其历史的积淀，具有非常明显的历史过渡性特征，有着难以言喻的收藏价值。崇宁通宝钱文为徽宗御书瘦金体，铁划银钩，深具骨秀格清之气韵，书法超妙绝伦，堪称币文楷书之颠峰。世人评此为“宋代第一泉”，与王莽并称中国钱发“二圣”，崇宁通宝版式多变，尚有铁钱。
开元通宝钱，在我国钱币史上具有划时代的地位。“开元”，意指开辟新纪元；“通宝”，意指流通宝货。开元钱的划时代地位表现在：唐代以前的钱币，多以形制或重量为名称，如刀币、五铢钱等，而自开元钱后，改称“宝”、“通宝”、“元宝”等。开元通宝是唐朝统治290年中的主要流通货币，而且影响了中国1000多年钱币的形制、钱文模式和十进位衡法。
