InNEW HAMPSHIRE , dwellers of a ‘tiny house’ community which offered an inexpensivehousing option were evicted by the city government due to the technically illegalliving conditions and code violation. The village owner were claimed to violatethis unnecessary eviction by renting out homes. Similarily, O’Brien was forcedto move out from her purchased tiny house for the same reason. But actuallythere was no building code for tiny houses, resulting in the impossibility toget an occupancy permit to get it zoned. This paradox promoted law makers to makespecific regulations on tiny house and find a way to balance the qualityhousing and economic stress.
