Today is Chinese New Year's Eve, we're staying in the room and waiting for the delicious. I am writing these daily updates and some guys are playing outside of the room. Everyone is happy, that's great.
But this new year seems a little sad due to the Covid-19 and its variants. We're abord and people can't go back home during the traditional festival. That's fine, we're used to it and the company will prepare the party with fireworks for all and it makes us happier. However, these days the infection cases are roaring, more and more people get infected days before this reunion. As a result of this, all parties have been canceled and we work in the room personally.
To be honest, I used to spend spring festival abroad for many years, but this year is the first time we spend the spring festival in this way staying alone in the room. Of course, the delicious food is there prepared by the company. But you know our Chinese like to have dinner with people. And more people, happier, c'est la vérité.
Fortunately, we can go outside and celebrate the new year. Hope all infected guys could recover asap and the health ones stay healthy forever!
