"Who did it on earth?" I asked.
After lunch, I entered classroom and spied plenty of water spattered at the back of the classroom. They said it was a girl from neighbor class who chased DH L and threw a bottle of water at him.
"Did she fell in love with you?" I made a joke at him.
However, hearing these words, he buried his face into his arms against the desk, bursting into tears.
I realized that I shouldn't have said that, and demanded him to follow me to the office, but he didn't move. I repeated my order, and he neglegted.Even the ones around him tried to pursuade him.He still sat there like a hill.
"Don't you want me to invite you?!" I shouted at him and rushed to him and hit him on his back and neck and pulled him to the office.
What a thing! While playing outside, he was knocked by accident by a girl , towards whom he threw dirty words at once. She couldn't stand and ran after him into our classroom to revenge. What worse, she slipped down and got so angrier that she threw the bottle full of water towards him.
In fact, the event didn't matter at all, but why did I lose temper and communicted with him with "body language". It was my face, my fragile self-respect. The question is that what worth more, a teacher's face or a student's self-esteem?
