Although Joe Biden has become the U.S. President for nearly 1 month, the last president Donald Trump continues to command the spotlight.
Media have focused on Trump’s impeachment. He also sued or investigated for his misconduct. But Trump still had some power in GOP. The republicans minority leader took the opportunity to urge GOP lawmakers to choose the side. Therefore, the GOP members were divided and distracted.
Up to now, Joe Biden seemed benefit from it. He steered clear from these news, and kept going on his agenda. However, if he want to make good on his promise on president election, he will need Americans’ buy-in, which required the attention of both parties. Therefore, he has to take back the spotlight. And he probably have realized the problem.
