I’ve made it, safe and sound. But it took me more than 30 hours to finish my trip back to the U.S. The picture shows where my first flight went over the area between Shenyang and Beijing. I hate to see pictures like this. The smoke streams came from some farm fields. And they were all over the places. Apparently, farmers were burning their crops on site and trying to avoid expensive disposal alternatives. Although the local governments forbid doing these, but these activities couldn't be eliminated. We are all living in a small "bubble" called The Earth. Any individuals who is irresponsible to our environment would rather chose to deal with their own waste disposal problems with blind eyes. Imagine we eventually fill our bubble up with smoke, harmful chemicals , and other pollutants. What's the difference between us as human being with conscious and other animals?
