Each truth moment is worth to mark. Although I always realized that It’s best to write down the experience in lief. If let time flow like a silent river, I will lose many valuable memories. This feeling makes me frustrated in such a state— you know you should do sth right, but never start actually. One of the reasons for me is that I haven’t enough confidence. I am worried about my idea is not creative and valuable to others. Things are changed since I join in Toastmasters, I found the effective way to learn sth you are not good at. During the wonderful experience, I know that It’s never too late to do sth you really wanted.
每一个关键时刻都值得记录。一直以来都觉得生活中的重要经历需要写出来。如果任由时间像无声的河水一样流淌，我将失去许多难忘的记忆。这种感觉也会让我陷入一种沮丧的状态，明知自己应该做许多事情，但就是没有实际开始。一个重要的原因是我没有足够的信心。会担心我写出来的东西，没有足够的创意和价值。但自从加入头马以后，这种状态开始改变，我找到了学习原本自以为并不擅长的东西的有效方法。在头马的经历也让我明白了，做你真正想做的事情，任何时候开始都不晚。
5th, June —I take part in the first time demo meeting of Star Fire club on Wednesday evening. It’s happy to support fellow club. Three of meeting roles are from our club. Mr. Tiger is the table topic master. He prepares 10 interesting topics about travel. Speakers in this meeting are very active and sophisticated in spoken English. Stephanie delivers a prepared speech about how to use sentence stress to improve vocal variety. She also gets the best speaker award. I am happy to be her individual evaluator. I found she is very good at speech delivery skills such as vocal variety and eye contact. During this speech, she uses several techniques to connect with audience such as visual aids, question& answer, and examples. It’s also the first time she give speech outside our club to face thirty unfamiliar audience. We can see that each time when we outside comfort zone, we will see more potential in ourselves.
6月5日：周三晚上参加了即将成立的长安星火俱乐部第一次示范会议。很开心能够支持兄弟俱乐部。我们俱乐部的小伙伴在这次会议上担任了三个会议角色。Tiger担任了即兴演讲的主持人。他准备了10个关于旅行的非常有趣的话题。这次会议上的演讲者都非常积极，英语水平很高。Stephanie作了一个关于掌握句子重音来提高语言表达的备稿演讲。她的演讲也获得了这次会议的最佳演讲。我很开心为她作演讲评估。她的发音节奏和眼神交流等表达技巧都很棒。在这次演讲中，她使用了一些与陌生观众保持联系的技巧，例如使用PPT作为视觉辅助，利用问答环节与观众互动，以及增加例子示范等。这次也是她第一次在俱乐部之外面对三十个陌生观众进行演讲。可以看出每一次当我们走出舒适区的时候，将会发现自己更多潜力。
6th, June — The day before Dragon Boat Festival is the 138th regular meeting of our club. From the 68th to 138th, I totally take part in 70 meetings in Xi’an Fortune Toastmasters Club. This is my home club and true love forever. On this meeting, our new member Alice gives her icebreaker speech. Her speech rhythm is very calm. She is also good at telling story by vivid description. Other two members Amy and Nemo play new meeting roles at the first time, their performance is very good. One thing I am thinking is how to help members find benefit in each meeting role.
6月6日：端午节前的一天是我们俱乐部的第138次例会。自从第68次会议到现在，我总共参加了我们西安财富头马俱乐部70次会议。这里是我在头马永远的第一俱乐部和真爱。在这次会议上，我们的新会员Alice进行了破冰演讲。她的演讲节奏很镇定，而且很善于用生动的细节讲故事。另外两个新会员Amy和Nemo也尝试了新的会议角色，都有各自精彩的表现。目前我一直在考虑的问题是，怎样帮助会员在每一次作会议角色的过程中都获得成长价值。
Things I need to do. For me, I need to learn by deliberate practice rules in many areas. One goal is to improve my vocal variety and body language on pathways level 3 projects in next two month. Another one is to learn manuals of Toastmasters together with other fellows. I hope my speech skill can up to area contest level in one year, and up to district contest level in three to five years.
我需要做的事情。对我而言，我需要把刻意练习的原则应用到许多领域。一个目标是提高语音语调和肢体语言，希望利用pathways level 3 的项目在最近两个月内完成上面的训练。另一个目标是和小伙伴一起研究头马的教育手册。我希望在未来一年内可以把自己的演讲技能提升到可以参加小区比赛的水平，未来三到五年内提升到可以参加大区比赛的水平。
