Lesson 9 A cold welcome
On Wednesday evening, we went to the Town Hall. It was the last day of the year and a large crowd of people had gathered under the Town Hall clock. Fifteen minutes passed and then, at five to twelve, the clock stopped. The big minute hand did not move. We waited and waited, but nothing happened. Suddenly someone shouted, 'It's two minutes past twelve! The clock has stopped!' I looked at my watch. It was true. The big clock refused to welcome the New Year. At that moment everybody began to laugh and sing.

3.听力(L2) ：今天听了三个人的，主要在Wednesday和Hall上，出现错误较多，Wednesday中间是z的发音而不是s发音，Hall结尾是l的发音而不是不发音
4.复述(L3) ：the Town Hall，under the Town Hall clock. It would strike twelve in twenty minutes' time. 这三点没复述出来，在做笔记的时候，前两个是没时间写在本子上，后一个是strike的单词没听出来。
练习感悟：
今天是学习的第九天，在回忆之前几天听的音标，感觉最近对音的识别有一点点提高了，这是特别开心的地方，复述的进步不是很大，有点小小的失望，听原音的时候笔记跟不上脑子，等复述的时候自己说的很啰嗦，感觉还有很长的路要走。恩！ 没关系，明天继续~
