这一部分就是讲Purposeful practice。
开头开门见山，之后分出小点具体讲。
Purposeful practice is all about putting a bunch of baby steps together to reach a longer-term goal.
解释baby steps时提出要分解break down a plan。直到分解成你可控的行动。因为人类的思考模式是线性、有顺序的，不像《你一生的故事》里外星人对于一个事情的思考可能是同时展开在眼前。

3.跳出舒适区
这里有几个表达，是同一个意思：challenge yourself、push beyond comfort zone、get out of comfort zone
这里用富兰克林的例子深入的阐述了什么是舒适区。
而在跳的过程中，会遇到各种各样的困难和阻碍。解决办法是找到最适合自己的技巧。有时候最好的方法就是利用过来人的经验。
另一种心理上的阻碍则需要更强大的精神动力支撑。成功案例中的动力来源内部和外部的反馈。尤其他还具备作为运动员的毅力，明白刻苦训练的重要性。具备挑战自己的特点。
第二部分阐述了有目的的训练也会遇到限制。对于不同的特征，作者的实验分别控制了不同变量。
感悟：get stuck 的时候，大多数人可能没意识到，或者不知道该做什么来应对。可能此时最需要的是及时的反馈，和对自己的记录。假如遇到stagnation，不能自欺欺人。接受，然后想办法。求助，试验，feedback 持续循环。
