In China's time, today is the Moon Festival, a great time for celebration of full moon, harvest and a time for family reunion.
Around this time, we eat moon cakes, little round baked cakes that look like full moon. They come with a variety of flavors: red bean paste, lotus paste, nuts, mung bean, fruit flavors. Some moon cakes come with one yolk or two. My favorite is with lotus paste and yolk.
A moon cake always reminds me to send great wishes to my friends in China.
