Do you agree that students should not be allowed to bring their mobile phones into the class room? To this question, I strongly agree to forbid students’ mobile phones in school. The following three points will be given some reasons to prove my view.
First, from a pure learning standpoint, middle students don’t have to bring mobile phones to school. We all know that it’s more vital for them to study the subjects carefully, so that they have opportunities to enter an ideal college. Bring mobile phone to the classroom will affect students’ learning effective. For example, while all students are paying attention to teacher’s class, suddenly, someone’s mobile phone is called and make a loud noise. It’s certain that their attention will be influenced regardless of the phone’s owner or other students.
Second, if students can’t control their behaviors to manage the time they use mobile phones, the result of students’ learning is also influenced directly. Nowadays, many smartphones’ functions have been stronger. To be honest, as some adults, sometimes they are difficult to escape the mobile phones’ temptation, so they often fail the ambitions of new year’s resolutions and always seek for some effective solutions how to improve the self-discipline. Adults often need to pay the willpower to control the mobile phones used, and are those students? Therefore, students have even less time and energy to concern mobile phones. So, I strongly support the point that students are not allowed to bring mobile phones to school.
Third, considering the different conditions from various students’ families, buying mobile phones maybe affect some families’ expense. Sometimes, this situation not only will affect their right attitude between students due to comparison between the rich and the poor, but also some students are caused mental weariness in the school due to poor family condition.
In brief, in my eyes, if a school allows students bringing phones to the classrooms, this is equal to chronic suicide. Besides, students are curious for the draw of the internet. Most of students often use mobile phones in secret. An old saying is that students are the future in a country. To avoid them falling in unhealth mental state, parents and teachers should concern students’ behaviors carefully in private.
