蔡康永曾经说过:“你说什么样的话,你就是什么样的人”,同样,面试时你的英语水平就奠定了入职后的职场地位。英文面试和中文面试一样,都有“套路”可循,结合自己的学习/工作经验,告诉面试官他们想听到的答案。
可能有些小伙伴用中文面试的时候可以侃侃而谈,到英文面试的时候就一脸懵逼,英文面试到底该说什么?突然间卡壳了怎么办?或许这个系列会给你一些提示。
外企面试通常分为三轮:第一轮面试一般由公司HR主持,第二轮面试一般由用人部门主管或经理面试,非技术部门的话一般还有第三轮面试,面试官通常是公司的高层或总经理。
根据面试人员的身份不同,回答的策略也有些许不同。在第一轮面试中,HR的问题都比较宽泛,不过ta一定会让你用英文进行自我介绍、职业规划、薪水期望、自身个性等内容的介绍。这个时候只要不是和职位需求差距太远,口语表达能力好些,这些内容基本上都可以找到答题模板。
1、自我介绍
此时的答题策略是根据职位需求的特点强调重点信息,压缩次要信息,在提供重点信息时,还可以辅以例证,增强说服力。要不断的向面试官传递一个信息:我是这个职位最适合的人选,我是贵公司最佳的选择,如果没有选择我贵公司一定会后悔的。
记住:"You‘ll never have a second chance to make a good first impression"

I am a hard-working and responsible person. I'm used to working under high pressure. I think being a detail-oriented is one of the most important requirements for this position, and I'm absolutly detail-oriented .For example.... As you said, you need someone with a strong background in sales. This is where I've spent almost all of my career. so I've bring ten years of experience of this area. I believe that I know the sales skills, method and resource channels, and have as much management expertise as any person can in our industry. So I'm confident I'm suitable for this position.

2、工作经验
这一部分主要分为:工作中获得的能力、为什么离职、薪资期待、职业规划在这些必问项中穿插符合职位要求的自身特质,就可以避免王婆卖瓜自卖自夸的嫌疑。
My education professional background gieves me a logical problem- solving ability that I know will be useful in dressing client needs. And I have been working with this company for 4 years, I have accumulated a lot of experience in this field, I used to plan a project before doing it, therefore my biggest achievement is that i arrange my team well, for example....Similarly, I planned my career as well, I see myself moving up through salesman into office leader and eventually running a department, and I believe with your continuing-education program and my motivation for myself improvement, I'll have my those skills when the oppotunity comes for greater responsibility.
3、附加能力
“你通常是怎样平衡工作和生活?”“同事和客户发生冲突你会怎么办?”等等这种问题就是在考验你的附加技能,一般来说会包括抗压能力、时间管理能力、沟通能力、团队精神等,应聘者可以讲述一个自己成功的实例,实例的选择要根据职位的要求来定,如果职位要求面试者有较强的团队精神,可以参考一下回答:
I was promoted to manage a team, and aslo I have a personal rule that stop me from reacting to any problem until I feel calm about it. If there is a problem or conflict, I will use open communication and solve the problem in a collaborative way. I will try to be soft on people and hard on problems.
