A place near water

The place near the river I would like to talk about is a riverside restaurant where I could enjoy the view of the river, which twisted and turned across the town. I had gone there to have a nice meal with my friends and family. I could also see many people standing on both banks of the river and going boating. And the restaurant provided some delicious food. They used fresh ingredients from the food market nearby, including fish that people caught in the river. Sometimes I went there with my friends because whenever we saw the river, the view brought back some good memories of the river. When we were children, we did a lot of activities around the river. I would like to go there because I felt relaxed when I looked the river. But unfortunately this river had been polluted because some factories had discharged untreated waste water into the river. They were only concerned about how to maximize their profits. They didn't use water in an environmentally responsible way.
