We're proud to join the world’s largest reading experience, Jumpstart’s Read for the Record, a campaign encouraging universal literacy. On the 27 October, all our classes will read this year’s official campaign book, The Bear Ate Your Sandwich by Julia Sarcone-Roach.
This is the story of a bear who gets lost in the city and comes upon an unattended sandwich in the park. His engrossing adventures introduce new vocabulary and help to develop comprehension and conversations skills.
Students at all levels will be listening to the story and taking part in fun, age- appropriate activities. Don't forget to ask your children who they think really ate the sandwich!
