The days of "one-size-fits-all" education system have passed. Traditional classroom no longer provides the only way of meeting one’s learning needs. Some students are taking course online and finding the advantages to this new way of learning. The number one advantage is that online learning is more convenient. Students can choose when and where they learn. Another advantage is that students do not feel intimidated by teachers who lack patience or by students with higher skill level. They can take time to think through the answer before making a reply. There are still many advantages to the traditional classroom, but if a student studies well independently, he or she might do well to try learning online.
标准化教育模式的时代已然过去，传统的教室教学也不再是满足个人学习需求的唯一方式，已经有部分学生开始在网上学习并逐渐发现到这种新型学习方式的诸多优点。首先，在线学习更加便捷，学习的时间和地点都可以由学生自主选择；其次，学生不会因为老师缺乏耐心同学水平过高而产生焦虑情绪，学生可以花时间充分思考之后再作回答。尽管传统的教室教学依然存在较多优势，但如果一个学生能够很好的自主学习，那么他（她）尝试在线学习也会表现得很不错。
普适教育模式适合于基础教育，
首先，普适教育可以为学生提供广阔的知识空间去发现自身的特长和兴趣点，为将来的进一步深造提供基础性智力支持，不过这种教育模式不应该是填鸭式的，而应该是启发式的，即不仅要知道事物是这个样子，更要知道它为什么是这个样子，在标准化的同时，力求最大化的顺其天性，因材施教，因为这个世界普通的没有特点的人才实在太多太多，而有个性有突出专长的人才少之又少，而社会的发展离不开这些极其特别的人，
