The Pokémon Go app is on fire this days. It's very popular among my friends, and they are posting all kinds of Pokémons they captured in various places. One of my friends said this is such a great way to exercise, because in order to incubate an egg, you will have to walk 10 km. Another friend said that his dog is very happy because of much longer daily walks.
I downloaded the app and tried a few times, then I let it sit quietly in my phone. I'm super excited about the technology, the smart idea of combining the Pokémon world and the reality, making people exercise more is a really good objective, but I want to avoid getting addicted to it.
When I was trying it out, one thing I didn't understand was that you can only sign up using Gmail. If the app requires a username and a password, any email would do.
I ended deleting it just to kill the idea that I may have a chance to be addicted... it's still a lot of fun to see my friends posting pictures about their cute Pokémons :)
