May baby daughter May had a fever last night.
Last night, I was waken up by May's crying.
I fed her with breast milk.
Usually, when she wakes up and cries at night, after drinking some milk, she falls asleep soon.
However, she didn't sleep at that time but continue to cry.
I found she mouth was hot and her hands and feet were hot. Then I realized that she was running a fever.
I was scared and woke up her father. He was worried, "Should we take her to the hospital?"
I nodded worriedly.
I began to dress May in a thick coat.
"Don't dress her and let her keep cool." he said, carrying baby from my arms, "fetch me a wet towel."
I realized he was right and did as he said.
May's faces were red and she tried to smile when she saw we were looking at her, she was too young to realize our worry.
I saw her lips were dry, so I got some warm water for her. She drink all the water–-much more then the usual amount.
"Maybe we can try feeding her some medicine to rid the fever."
"But we don't have febrifuge(退烧药)."
"Does the medicine ba bao jing feng san work?"
"I don't know, you read the instruction."
"The instruction is gone."
"Can't you find it through your phone?" I asked and I found May was throwing up and busy cleaning up.
After a while, he brought the medicine and let May take it.
May cried hard after drinking it because it was so bitter.
Her father brought some water, I didn't let her drink it because I knew we should let some medicine stay in her throat, which eases the pain in her throat.
Fortunately, the medicine worked and the fever came down.
I was relieved and went to sleep but I stayed alert for fear that the fever would came up.
I bless she will recover soon.
